    John,
    Thanks for the info, I hadn't found the tutorial
    yet. However, I just read the tutorial and must be misunderstanding
    it, because it still isn't clear to me why I'm having trouble. Right at
    the beginning of the tutorial it states that GetPosition() is the local
    coordinates. This is what I want(I think). What I'd like to do is have
    my object alway progress forward on it's Z-axis, even though it's
    Z-axis is rotating in world space. It's unclear why if I rotate my object
    and always increment the Z term in the GetMl(getV0()) returned matrix,
    that the object doesn't continue along its Z axis.

    Am I making sense?
